The sound of a cough may soon identify the severity of the disease in COVID-19 patients, a research team led by the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia, Spain said. They said analysing coughs could help categorise COVID-19 patients as mild, moderate or severe. It can also help in monitoring those with persistent infection.
